According to statistics recently released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics the average employment in the country, has increased from December 2009.

Started from the month of December 2009, most of the employers were offering a lot of jobs open positions. This increased dramatically the few months before December. According to reports the number increased by 35,200; 7,300 in full-time employment. Part-time employment also rose by 27,900.

According to the Reuters poll predictions from last year there will be almost 10,000 increase in employment, however this was surpassed at the second week of the month. However 5.7 percent of unemployed and the participation rate edging up to 65.3 percent are still the same.

Under the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program, international graduates can now obtain a three year open work permit on which they can work for any Canadian employer in any industry but they are not required to have a Canadian job offer at the time of application.
